The last few weeks can be summed up as a battle of wits against the monstrous complexities of the mathematical formulas that make up my economics and quantitative analysis courses. It’s a struggle, but I am determined to come out on top.
But despite all copious studying (which I promise is actually quite copious and actually paying off), is anyone really surprised to find out I have still been writing in my (incredibly limited) spare time? After all, this is me we’re talking about.
Creative writing is how I let stress out after a full day of class and studying. Give me five minutes and I’ll jot down a series of phrases that have haunted me throughout the day. Give me a half hour before bed, and I’ll hammer out a few hundred words before hitting the hay.
No wonder a new story’s been taking shape this summer.
This also will not surprise you: that I, so passionate about all things online, thought I would use this medium to share some of my fiction writing with you. Since this will be in a serial format, I had some fun and threw together a separate site.
So if you’re interested in learning why Basil is creeping through the woods in the middle of the night with his sketchy cousin, check out The Ghost In Between, and let me know what you think! And we shall see how this new online endeavor of mine turns out.
